I've recently got an LCD monitor and it is occasionally 'flickering' colors very noticeably. It's not a new monitor, but the person I'm borrowing it from hasn't had any trouble with it.
The flickering occurs across operating systems and screen resolutions.
I'm pretty sure it's related to dirty power…

I bought a new Asus vh242h LCD monitor for use with my lenevo T60 laptop running XP professional. Display info under control panel says "Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family". I am connecting via VGA.

Curious as to solutions to an LCD monitor making a high-pitched whine. The frequency of the whine changes based on refresh rate selections.

I've got an old 17" LCD that I've had for nearly 9 years now but still works pretty well. It's been my secondary monitor for a few years, but I just got a new 24" monitor, so my current main LCD (19") will become the new secondary screen.
Any good suggestions of interesting (and preferably cheap/free)…
